FORGED: MEN'S MINISTRY

Through AUTHENTICITY, you learn to live with true accountability. First to yourself, and then to your brothers!

 

Through BROTHERHOOD, you learn to identify blind spots (both strengths and weaknesses) and find men that help build you!

 

Through COMMUNITY, you will find comrades, constituents, and confidants and learn the important role that each plays in your life.

PHILOSOPHY:

​

Men NEED community! A place where they can be MEN! Not husbands, not dads... Just men! A
place where they can be honest and transparent! A place where they can know that they are
not alone, and not alone in their struggle!
The primary goal of Forged is to help build STRONG MEN! We believe that comes first through
helping men recognize their primary identity ... As SONS (Romans 8:15)!
From that position of sonship, we work on everything else ... Believing that once that identity is
realized, the rest can more easily be secured.
We believe that Men’s Ministry should be the backbone of the church. To that end, we look for
ways to support the other ministries of First Street Church and outside organizations within our
community.

MODEL:

• Monday Night Meeting (Mondays, 6:30pm) - Bible Study on Biblical Manhood​

• Sunday Morning Devotional (Sundays, 9:00am) - Hear the Knock

• Holy Smoke (1st and 3rd Mondays, 5:00pm) - FSC Podcast Room

​

• Soulcon - Six-week structured challenges that use physical and nutritional disciplines to create spiritual and emotional change.

• Various Small Groups Starting - Breakfast Meetings, Various Studies, etc.

• We host one BIG event EACH quarter - Texas Hold ‘Em Tournaments, Super Bowl Party, etc.
