FORGED: MEN'S MINISTRY

We want to see men in or community become better fathers, husbands, and sons. We
say it almost every week: We’re raising the bar of what it means to be a man and raising the bar
even higher of what it means to be a man at First Street Church. We love to set personal goals
then see each other achieve those goals through encouragement, accountability, and authentic
relationships.

PHILOSOPHY:

Antoine de Saint-Exupery said it best, “A civilization is built on what is required of
men, not on that which is provided for them.” We believe a great church is built on the backs of
men that love the Lord and serve their family and community. This is why we’re raising the bar.

We know God has more for you and every man out there. We strive to ground our identity in
Christ and follow His word in every aspect of our lives; to be disciplined in our pursuit of God,
and driven to walk by the Spirit.

We believe that life as a man is best lived in community so join us for any of the opportunities that
fit your schedule and be ready to be challenged to live into the abundant life Jesus came to give
us!

• Tuesday Night Meeting (Tuesdays, 6:30pm) - Sharpen One Another (Proverbs 27:17)

• Sunday Morning Devotional (Sundays, 9:30am) - Weight of Glory by C.S. Lewis

• Holy Smoke (1st and 3rd Mondays, 5:00pm) - FSC Podcast Room

• Friday Morning Bible Study (Fridays, 7:00am) - with Pastor Scott Gossenberger

• Various Small Groups Starting - Breakfast Meetings, Various Studies, etc.

• We host one BIG event EACH quarter - Texas Hold ‘Em Tournaments, Super Bowl Party, etc
