Matt Backowski

An overview: I was born and raised in Fresno, and grew up playing lots of sports. I

have been married to my incredible wife for 25 years. We have 3 amazing sons. I

currently practice law in the area of business and real estate.

I have been involved with First Street Church since 2019, and now serve on the Ministry

Counsel. Our team serves as a board of advisors to help navigate and discuss

matters of the church.

When I’m not serving on our ministry team or working in the office, I enjoy playing golf

and jamming on my guitar with Josh, our worship pastor. Lastly, a fun fact about me is

that I absolutely love snorkeling.
